Digital competences of health teachers in private higher education in Portugal

Strengthening the digital competencies of Higher Education teachers is a priority in Europe, especially in Portugal. In this context, researchers from Universidade Aberta assessed the digital skills of teachers in a private healthcare institution. The study used the DigCompEdu CheckIn questionnaire, adapted for Portugal, identifying weaknesses, particularly in pedagogical competence. The results highlight the need for training to enhance teachers' digital proficiency and support the digital transformation in education.
