Abstract

Articulating and composing the concept of integrating Literacy and Literacy is an attribution of Magda Soares' brilliant mind. The author gathered terms that are connected to broad and specific fields of experience, that are intrinsically interconnected, and which she creatively named Alfaletrar. That implies hearing the author's voice announcing a new perspective for the field of education studies in an original way. In this review, we try to reveal synthetically the author's thought to understand not only the integration of interconnected literacy but also the literacy in the same child's learning process. Recognizing that writing, reading and interpreting texts are skills that cannot be conceived in a static or separate way, but organized and in a continuous way. The experiences and results of years of research that the author carried out on literacy and textual genres in various supports, situations and social uses are gathered in the work and exposed in a planned and oriented way.
